I think what needs to be rememberd is that other presidents have done this.  Way back to Eisenhower, Kennedy, and George Bush senior and one of the biggest was Nixon.  This is not new.  This is not a massive millitary parade at all.  Let's see what happen's and then make a judgment.  I hear the fireworks will be massive and there will be music and more.  The fly overs will be great.  We are honoring our military and our nation.  This is not the first time a president makes a speech on the 4th of July.  If Obama would of done this the media would of raved and covered it in a positive way. I would have also but that never happened.  good luck.

Last report I seen said it's 'sposed to rain there today anyway, so we'll see if it goes off or not.

You guys go to a park, and "park money" is used to clean the toilets, pay the staff (OT), pick up trash,  first aid, etc. 

Is the money being spent by the park service different than what they spend on other large events on the mall?

My daughter and her family were up there this week.  Stayed at the casino all week, just came back today.  They didn't mention anything about that . Don't understand the part that the guy walked back to shore.  He must of swam the boat back maybe? then walked to shore when he could.  Strange.  good luck.

The way I read the story, he was standing in the water nest to a pwc. Had pfd on. Guy came by and asked if he needed help.  Said no.   Guy came by again later to check and he was face down in water.

They have been advertising that thing for a long time on John Gilespies fishing show but I havent seen it on tv.  Facebook at times.  Kind of like a George Forman thing.  I still like the grill myself.  But I can see it can be handy for someone in an apartment where they don't allow grills.  good luck.

My cousin took her grandkids to the CAWchester (Olmsted county) fair last nite, ended up leaving, because she said there was huge brawl among a few certain groups...
Said it just ruined their entire nite and after spending the $25 per person ticket for rides.
Wish this town would wake the hell up and quit yapping about how perfect it is. Just ticks ya off....

Based on the lack of detail in the story you referenced, I'd say "Social Media" does a better job of reporting news than "Mainstream (bias) Media."
