Might be OK in the outdoor $hitter we use up in Canada but not the modern models around here.  :bonk:

Report: Navy ships need $400K 'flushes' to unclog toilets

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Toilets on two Virginia-based Navy aircraft carriers that have become repeatedly clogged could require treatments costing $400,000 each to get them working properly, a U.S. Government Accountability Office report found.

The recently-built USS Gerald R. Ford and USS George H.W. Bush were made with sewage systems similar to those used on commercial aircraft, but increased to accommodate more than 4,000 people, The Virginian-Pilot said, citing the report. But the pipes turned out to be too narrow to handle the volume of sailors flushing toilets at the same time, Shelby Oakley of the U.S. Government Accountability Office told the newspaper.

Navy maintenance crews determined both Norfolk-based aircraft carriers' sewage systems could require costly acid flushes, potentially regularly, to fix the problem, according to the report. Officials said they did not know how many times the treatments would be needed.

The Accountability Office report, requested by the Senate Armed Services Committee, found 150 other examples of maintenance problems across ships in the Navy's fleet that could require more than $130 billion in maintenance.

"Existing policies and guidance have not ensured that new ships are reliable and can be sustained as planned," the newspaper quoted the report as saying.

Still $1.77 in Bugtussle today, same as yesterday according to Gas Buddy. Be interesting to see if it drops today or tomorrow.

Would have been nice if she had a concealed handgun and took out this idiot.  The guy has mental problems for sure.  The guy is a threat to the community.  good luck.

Just went to the drive up at the credit union & cruised 'round town for 20 minutes or so. Pretty nice out when I got home so I took a little stroll 'round the neighborhood too, felt good to get out.  :happy1:  Quite a few others in the neighborhood out as well.

Ya, never seen so many people out and walking in my N'hood as last nite. Most were out and walking, waving, talking....except the hotshot kiddies next door. They don't talk to anybody or want anything to do with neighborhood watch, etc. Oh, and the NL.....haven't seen her in a long time. She's been kinda holed up.
