Yeah, nothing like a high-profile tabloid romance to keep your mug on TV while you're cleaning up at the box office with your new movie.

In typical MN fan fashion, I hope they don't win another game.  Going no where at 1-4.  You are what your record says you are.  Bottom out.  Rebuild.

I'll also eat my slice of humble pie for slammin the Vikes for NOT drafting Mac Jones when they had the chance.  Jones ain't doin nothing for the Pats.

That last challenge flag was a bad decision as it cost 'em a timeout that would've come in handy on that last drive. :pouty: Still, Mattison should've caught that screen pass when he was wide open on KC's 19 yd line with 5 minutes left & that would've tied the game. :bonk: That's a lot of time left for Mahomes though.

At live speed I can see how they were hoping for a simultaneous catch that he ripped away from Kelse, but you'd a thunk the Vikes internal video review team could have made a better decision faster.

Its becoming a cliche, but you can't turn the ball over ON THE FIRST PLAY OF THE GAME, spot the defending superbowl winning team 7 points, and expect to win the game.   :pouty:

Here is what's left on the schedule...

Bears (1-4), 49ers (5-0), Pack (2-2), Falcons (3-2), Saints (3-2), Broncos (1-4), Bears  (1-4), Raiders (1-3), Bengals (2-3), Lions (4-1), Pack (2-2), and Lions (4-1)

Neither the Bears nor the Pack are above .500, but they'll prolly split with them anyway.  Vikes SHOULD beat the Broncos and the Raiders, but their records says they are as bad as those teams - another split.  And I like the Bengals over the Vikes straight up.  Again, in typical MN fan fashion ;), I only see 3 more wins on the schedule.   :coffee:

Not even Taylor Swift respects Minnesota...   :rotflmao:

So.....question is.....will they trade Cousins before the deadline at the end of the month??? He has to agree since he has a ....No Trade Clause.

I say do it Kirk, can't keep getting beat up here with this o-line. You've always gone where the money is, it could be a lot greener somewhere else.

Yup I always thought that if he decided to go that we would be begging him to stay.  Can't blame him for leaving.  For a decade or two they haven't tried to hard to protect our QBs.  Just about 0 chance that this season turns out good anyways.  And it is not Kirk's fault.  No QB's are going to want to get the heck beat out of them here neither.

Too bad for Tanner.  They don't refer to the NFL as football at "The Highest Level" for nothing.

If the Vikes were 4-1 instead of 1-4, I wonder if JJ would have shut it down for 4 weeks with his pulled hammie or gutted it out for the team?

KOC needs to do the right thing, which allow JJ to say the right thing.  KOC (and rightly so) wants to send the message to his players that he cares about their health - knowing full well JJ has a big decision coming up.

I know I'm getting all worked up when I shouldn't be.  Hell, if I were JJ, I'd do the same thing and probably be less gracious and politically correct about it.  If he can stay healthy, he's about to make A Bagillion Dollars and could be an all-time NFL great.  I just hope he does it with the Vikes.

Since baseball is done...

A) Do you think they will try to trade Cousins?

B) Do you think Cousins will squash the deal?

C) What do you think they will get for him?

You're probably right.  He is a pro, but he is also family first.  That is always a struggle for pro athletes to balance the two.

But Cousins has a pro contract that with a no trade clause.  If he wants to stay close to his family this season, he can, and I agree, I think he will.  Next season's problems will solve themselves soon enough.

The only wild card factor is if Cousins is tired of the crap getting kicked out of him, and a team with a strong offensive line want to trade for him.
