From my layman view of things I like the Levis guy.  See the arms on him?  He is a tough guy with a good arm.  Needs work of course but I like him.  They said he may be able to do some wild cat plays the first year behind Kirk.  He also is a good QB sneak at the goal line candidate.

If they put Kirk's run-capable back-up in the game on 3rd and 1 from the goal line, can you actually call it a QB sneak if everyone knows what's coming?   

maybe if they do it the Philadelphia Eagles style!!!!!!

  because its April fools i aint buying into this on freakin bit. but there's an article out there that saying the Vikings and cousin kirk struck a new deal......... so it wont hurt the salary cap........now he gets some guaranteed money but his extension will get paid in Kohls cash!!!!

I read that too.  So a 1 billion dollar stadium needs a quarter of a billion in repairs already.  There was a mil or two of warranty repairs the second year too.

That article didn't go into many details.  I worry about what "worn" could mean from an architecture standpoint.   

If that building is "Fair" to "Worn" after 8 years, seems to me there were serious flaws in the design.

Same recipe as they've used on a few other FAs this offseason. Good guys who have played well almost all of their careers but were hurt last season & didn't play much. So, they're probably able to sign 'em at a bit of a discount. Belichick knows how to develope good young CBs too.

Numerous reports say the Vikings have done their homework on quarterbacks and Star Tribune insider Ben Goessling said Tuesday that the Vikings are "keen" on some of the big-name quarterbacks, including Anthony Richardson.

Goessling then went ahead and predicted the Vikings to move up to the 11th pick in a trade with the Titans to select Richardson. In theory it makes sense and Goessling noted that his mock is better described as an educated guess rather than throwing something at the wall and hoping it sticks.

I read an article about his life then and now.  I like the guy.  Seems like a smart guy with unreal athletic abilities.  Grew up with very little other than a good family.

Heard another reporter/analyst say they personally preferred Hooker over Richardson.

Yeah, richardson has upside, but he was leary of small sample size, freak athlete QBs with accuracy problems.  NFL benches are cluttered with guys like this because coaches think they can fix a guy's accuracy problems, but don't.

Sorry, but i cant remember whoes opinion that was.

Picking the best QB, or even one that will be a starter on a team for 10 years is always a crap shoot.

Personally i thing all the vikes qb draft talk is smoke, but that is just my wild a$$ guess.  If i had to bet money at them drafting a particular position, i'd go with wide reciever.

But knowing the Vikes, they'll trade down to get an extra pick somewhere.
