His running mates from LSU Burrows (hurt) & Chase (their best player) play for the Bengals. He will play, although they will need somebody to throw the ball to him. Dobbs certainly can't. I feel sorry for anybody who still thinks this kid is anything but a backup.

We will seriously need him for this game.  That's right it is a Sat game. AND it is at noon.   :happy1: :happy1: :happy1:  Then Steelers at Colts next and the evening game is Broncos at the Lions.  A lot could happen on that day.

Yup......Vikes at 12:00. NFL Channel... But then the game of the day

North Dakota State at Montana in FCS Semi finals. Final Four 3:30 ESPN2

I didn't realize that until you mentioned it Dutch.  I googled and as you already know, Burrows out for season with torn ligament in hand or thumb.  That has to increase our chances of winning.

 The Bengals are 28th against the run & the pass, so they are 31st in total defense. However, they are #2 in TO margin, so ball securiity will be crucial IMO on Saturday. Plus, KO'C is 17-0 when winning the TO battle. The oddsmakers have it Cincy favored by 3.5.

It looks like I was wrong on their schedule this week as it sounds like they will practice yet Thursday & travel on Friday. https://www.si.com/nfl/vikings/news/vikings-tuesday-injury-report-estimates-for-mattison-oneill-jefferson

Good for him.  I heard so many people complaining about him early this season.  Glad to see he is having fun and doing good.

 Really? Almost eveything I've heard & read has been good right from the beginning of training camp when he was already taking some snaps with the starting defense.

Was just some guy on the radio that was talking bad about him and he did it a couple of times too.  Surprised me.

The Bengals have been running the ball a lot(63 carries) the last 2 games they've won, so Flores will have to plan on a way to stop that. They will need to win the TO battle again too. :cheerleader:

The dope on channel 4 doing the game sounds like Allen to me. They / he are equally bad.

Mullens should have been in 2 games ago.  He did a good job but both times he wilted down by the end zone cost us the game.  Those previous 2 losses would have been a good time to have him in there to get up to speed.

If they can't get 1 yard on 2 plays they don't deserve to win. :pouty:

Maybe it's just the way I see things but I thought Mullins had all the drive of a new born calf with his legs. The whole team couldn't have pushed him across. But thats just the way I saw it.

K'OC after the game: The decision to have Powell be the push player behind Mullens in the "tush push" was an odd one. O'Connell said he "wanted to stay in 11 personnel to try to keep them out of goal line defense or anything like that," but why not use T.J. Hockenson or even Justin Jefferson in that situation instead of the shortest player on the team? Powell is listed at 5'8" and 181 pounds. It probably didn't matter on the second sneak because Mullens didn't handle the snap cleanly, but maybe it could've made a difference on the first one.

Such a simple play and terrible execution.  Speaking of execution.....

Or how about putting Ham in and run play action?

I can see why he went for it though... the defense looked gassed.
