Bradbury has been bulking up and is bigger now than he was but still no Kirk Lowdermilk.  Remember how big he was.  The D had to try to go around him.  LOL

 You got me curious about Lowdermilk, LPS, so I asked Google. I checked 3 sites & the 1st one had him 6'3" & 263#s, the 2nd said 274#s, & the last had him at 284#s. There wasn't nearly as many 300+ #ers that were playing back then, like there is now. Bradbury is listed at 6'3" 300# & they say he was 306# at the combine.

Very interesting.  Ya Lowdermilk was a tough cookie.  I thought he was a lot bigger than that.  I thought he was huge.

So, then I got wondering what the average size is of the Centers in the NFL today. Turns out that's just under 6'4" & ~ 306 # is the NFL average, so Bradbury is about average size.

The Vikings cut Joseph loose & he signed with GB, where he is expected to compete for the starting job. Mn signed a XFL kicker, Romo, & are expected to sign another, either from the draft or an undrafted FA.

Huh I really thought he looked small out there, maybe the rest of our line is just huge? You would think they could protect the QB better if that was the case.  :bonk:

That's why some of the better OL & DL coaches like guys that were wrestlers with good footwork, they understand leverage.

Have you seen the pic of Jayden Daniels elbow?  It is really weird.  I just heard that it is photoshopped to make it appear real strange.  He does have a lump though.

It's been 10 years since the Vikes looked to draft a QB in the first round:  Teddy Bridgewater (2014).

And prior to that, the list is a short one:  Christian Ponder (2011), Daunte Culpepper (1999), and Tommy Kramer (1977).

For fun, here is the list of Bears' QBs taken in the first round of the draft.
Sid Luckman (1939)
Frankie Albert (1942)
Johnny Lujack (1946)
Bob Williams (1951)
Jim McMahon (1982)
Jim Harbaugh (1987)
Cade McNown (1999)
Rex Grossman (2003)
Mitchell Trubiski (2017)
Justin Fields (2021)

Caleb Williams (2024)

The Dr in LPS's video link says it's most likely this.................Elbow bursitis in inflammation in the olecranon bursa — the fluid-filled sac that protects and cushions your elbow joint. It’s usually caused by overuse from your job or activities like sports. You’ll probably only need at-home treatments to help your bursa heal. Most people recover in three to six weeks.

Vikings suspend offensive coordinator Wes Phillips for 3 weeks

Wes Phillips has been suspended three weeks without pay in connection to his DWI arrest in 2023.

The suspension starts today and ends April 23, meaning he will not miss any games, practices or the NFL Draft, which takes place April 25-27.

In February, the Vikings offensive coordinator signed a plea deal with Hennepin County District Court that saw his fourth-degree DWI charge reduced to a careless driving misdemeanor.

Did you see how weird his muscles were in the pic?  That is why they are saying it was photoshopped.

 But your Dr found the original photo & article, so he said he now believes it to be real for that reason. If it was photoshopped there would only be 1 such photo, according to him.

One prominent NFL source is reporting that the league is apparently close to resolving a situation that could impact how the Minnesota Vikings handle their business at this year’s selection meeting.

Adam Schefter is reporting that the league is expected to come to a resolution soon on the charges that the Atlanta Falcons tampered with quarterback Kirk Cousins ahead of the start of free agency. For those that haven’t been following the story, Cousins stated in his introductory press conference with the Falcons that he had been in contact with the team’s training staff during the “legal tampering” period, a time during which only player representatives are supposed to be in contact with the teams.

Per Schefter’s report, and this quote is directly from the article, “the discipline, which is likely to involve draft picks, is expected to be more severe for the Falcons.

There has been some speculation that any sort of penalty for the Falcons would include them being forced to swap first-round picks with the Vikings this Thursday, moving the Vikings from #11 to #8 in the first round.

Ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins were stripped of their first-round pick (as well as a 2024 third-round selection) for reportedly tampering with Tom Brady and Sean Payton on multiple occasions over a three-year period.

Three of the top NFL insiders- Adam Schefter with ESPN, Albert Breer with SI, and Peter Schrager with FoxSports- are all reporting that the Patriots are unlikely to trade down and will pick a quarterback at #3.

Drake Maye appears to be the favorite, assuming the Commanders take Jayden Daniels at #2.

All of the above are saying that the Patriots are still answering the phone, and the Vikings and Giants are the primary teams calling, but so far no deal has been reached for the Patriots to trade that pick

Its all positioning and posturing until the last possible moment.  I'm sure the Pats will take a QB at #3 unless a team gives them more than the #3 pick is worth AND they can still get a QB they like.

OR...  the Pats get way more than the #3 pick is worth, draft a bunch of need positions this year, still suck next year with a bad QB, get a Top 3 draft pick next year, and THEN take the QB.   :rotflmao:
