Darnold really made me nervous the second half, he seemed off. Once Jones went down our running game took a serious hit. Hopefully he bounces back.

Yes he lost his mojo there for awhile.  Wasn't hitting his targets.  Then a confidence builder completion and things got better.

Had Jones not gotten hurt I think they blow them out. You add a running game with Jeffersons crossing game and Addison's deep threat and they are tough to stop. But as we have seen in the past without a valid running game they become limited. Hockenson should add to the running game in addition to giving Darnold a quick place to dump the ball.

Yeah, I agree when #33 is on the field the run game is a lot better. Jones is largely underrated by many as a receiver IMO too though, especially doing the screen passes, as he has very good hands. Then if he can make that 1st guy miss, it can be a big play really easy. With his size & speed he's usually a tough matchup for any LB or CB.
