Sorry Gunner I won't read it. It'll just be a bunch of whining of why they lost. It should have been obvious to everyone that watched....they were outmanned, outplayed, outcoached on both sides of the ball.

I scanned it.  Agree some.  Disagree some.

You can't be the 28th worst pass defense in a pass-first league.  So what if y'er 2nd against the run if they can throw the ball all over the field.  With or without Flores, they're goona need to fix that.  Maybe they do need younger legs back there than Harrison Smith.

Ditto fixing the offensive line.  It will be good to get Darasaw back, but the interior is overdue for an upgrade.

Darnold...  he gone.  (Probably.)  In an ideal situation the Vikes could hit the reset button back to the beginning of 2024, sign a redemption project ex-starter (Like Darnold or Jones) to another one year deal and wait 'till y'er sure McCarthy to is ready.  Thing is...  Can/should/do the Vikes Franchise Tag Darnold after what they've seen (bad and good)?  They could tag him, and then perhaps trade him, but now which team would want him at the Franchise Tag price - even for one year?     And what they get in return be worth the trouble?  Do you keep Darnold at that price as your backup?  I don't think so.

That blogger needed something to write about, so he threw a little bit of shade at KOC.  (bitch )  KOC has done nothing but over-achieve with legitimately flawed teams.  Name a head coach you'd rather have than KOC.

At least JJ got to do his sophomoric mouth wave thing when they are losing their asses. If I were coach I'd bench him. Not a team player.

There are a lotta reasons why the Vikes lost the game.  JJ ain't one of 'em.

I'll tell ya what...  Us jaded Vikes fans like to gripe about all the calls we don't get...  and how other teams ALWAYS get the benefit...  Like when future Hall of Famer Matt Stafford fumbles (I mean) lets the ball roll out of his hands and they call it an incomplete forward pass - not even intentional grounding.

So, JJ invents a first down "celebration," which by its very action is the literal, visual definition of physically taunting someone, AND NFL officials never give him a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for it because he does it every time and he don't look no one in the eyes... whatcha goona do?

Now, I don't like showboating.  And you don't like showboating.  And KOC probably don't like showboating either, but he ain't benching a player on track to be one-of-the-best or the-best NFL receiver of all time for nothin'.

Yup, QB will be the big question mark for the next 2 months.

The only good thing from last night is that they have moved up in the draft from the 30's and are locked in at 24 (the Packers are at 23.)

They have $76 Million in Cap Space. Should go up after letting go some free agents. Between that and draft picks they should be able to get what is needed.

That is offensive lineman, a true number 1 cornerback and a running back after releasing Jones. Supposed to be plenty of good backs in the draft.

Just my opinion but what any team needs to be successful is discipline. It's up to the coach to establish that. If they are going to act like first graders then they need to be treated like first graders. End of story.
