nope, the boys are right GG was the one doing all the leg work. But I did send some good stuff to a family in need, the thing that rubbed me the wrong way was this dude signed up on here, had some small posts recieved his stuff and disappeared like a fart in the wind. I'll tread lightly after that.

I was hoping we could do this again.  Does anyone have a family in need that they know of that we could "adopt" for Christmas?  I'm in, but could someone else coordinate this year?  If not, I'll do it again, but maybe someone else could this time.

I spearheaded it last year guys, and enjoyed it very much.  The family was from up in the Finlayson area.  I was in touch for a while afterwards with him, but the couple was struggling after the holidays.  The last time I heard from him, it didn't sound good.  I don't see him on facebook any more,and I don't believe he's coming on here.  I thought we did a good thing for this family. It's too back things turned bad for them.

I've got some stuff I can contribute.  I just don't have a family this year.  Does anyone have friends, family, or neighbors in need that we can help?  This is a good and just cause guys.  We must have someone-maybe a member of one of our churches, or even a church that's struggling-I hope we can do this.  Cathy and I will be donating time to various charities as we always do.  Feed My Starving Children, things like that.  Maybe we could form a group to go volunteer at something like that?  Just a thought.  Whatever we do, I'm definitely in.

Thanks for your reply LPS.  Is anyone interested in doing this?  We need a family in need to adopt for Christmas.  Maybe someone could inquire at their church for a family we could adopt for the holiday?

We donate here for the holidays.  We sponsor a local family with a $100 donation and we don't know who the family is.  I like that.  I am not looking to get a pat on the back, just want to help someone.  I will donate my usual Ice Rig and Rod Holder which may not be Christmasy but that's all I got.
