season is upon us and already we've had an ice rescue on red lake gotta ask yourself "is a couple small walleyes really worth the risk?

Seen pics of open water out in front of the PA on our lake from 12/21/ last year which was 2.5-3 weeks, maybe more after it locked up. :scratch: I know there was at least 1 or 2 who had skid houses out on the main lake for 2 weeks by then. Don't think that has ever happened before on our lake but I have to agree with Reb, it's not worth! :bonk: Especially when you think of the First Responders that are put at risk, let alone their families. :tut: :crazy:
