:rotflmao: I wouldn't think so, but with some you never know. My thoughts? This guy used to go in there alot and had to come back and double check to see if what he was seeing was real.

Years ago a neighbor used to ask if it was ok if we (I assumed him and his son that was with him) could hunt my land after we quit on Sunday.  I let him for 3-4 years and then when my friend who was hunting his property east of me told me that he saw three pickup loads of people come in on Sunday afternoon.  Well, that was the end of that.

It's happened more than once.  A few years ago a neighbor ask if he could hunt turkeys.  I said he could.  Later when I was there I saw where he set up being there was a few decoys and chair etc.  I was really upset because he had spread corn cobs around the area.  When I called him he said it wasn't him but a friend of his that put the corn out and he didn't know about it.  I told him that when I gave him permission to hunt I didn't give him permission to invite whoever he pleased. I would not have been too upset if he was there but he wasn't even there when his friend hunted.  Go figure.

I had a guy ask to bow hunt for many years. Seemed like a nice kid, knew the family and so on. I just asked that he only shoot a doe as we had 15 hunters for rifle season. The only time I ever heard from him was the day he asked for permission each year. One year the neighbor that he accessed my property thru told me that the kid, then 30ish, had taken 7 nice bucks out of our properties. He was using all his relatives bow license's to tag deer. The next year I told him he could not hunt here as we were doing something different. He has not been back, and I have not seen his family on the neighbor's land in years.
I believe that as a result of him not hunting, we are seeing more and bigger bucks on our property.  Such a shame that he ruined so much hunting for so many people.

This past year we allowed 6 people to hunt our land that have never been there before.  Having learned from past experiences, we stayed in close contact with them while they were hunting.  Fool me a couple times well that's me but there is a limit where I will change my attitude.   :tut:

When I looked through your initial stack of pictures, those muzzie guys looked like they knew where they were going and that they'd been there before.  Since they were gone when you got there a couple hours later, maybe they did turn around.

Any photos of what the deer herd thinks of the gate?

I had some but didn't keep them.  They don't read very well as they seem to walk right past the sign.
