SS Checks???
So if there is a Gov't. shutdown will I still get my SS check?

Remember, if you get your taxes done someplace, do not bring this form at it is what you will get NEXT year.  Bring the one with the pink boxes indicating what you received THIS year.   :crazy:

I have a big manila envelope folder on my desk, marked with the year, and as that stuff comes in the mail thru the year, (house taxes, real estate taxes, SS, etc) I just toss it in the envelope. Then I'm all set at years end. :smiley:

Yup, I will. .....which I'll put out after Feb 2nd..groundhog day. That's when I always finish my taxes (because a few places wait 'til Jan 31 to send out statements.... :angry:) and send them in. Then the new envelope sits there for the stuff that comes in the mail during the year. Beats scrounging around at the end of the year for receipts. I also put in things like donation receipts from Goodwill, etc, money I draw out, and real estate stuff, all the  same day I do those things. Just makes it a lot easier.
