WHY, WHY, WHY???

Why do smokers just throw their cigarette butts out where ever they please?  On the ground in front of a building, out their car window, AROUND the ground by fire pits at campsites... (Seriously, why not in the fire?)  What fricken slobs.  And you wonder why there is no sympathy for these people that can't smoke in bars and restaurants anymore.
Let's just fricken outlaw smoking period.  God these people piss me off so much.  Sometimes, just once I’d like to just ram the car in front of me when they flick their cig butt out the window and it flies back at me.

That’s my rant for the day.  i feel better now.

(disclaimer... if you are a smoker and are one of the responsible ones who don't flick the butt... my apologies.  You more then anyone else should what to kick the ass of the other smokers giving you a bad name)

Other than that, How do you really feel about the smoking Issue (just kiddin).
During warm weather periods my wife goes out the door to have her smokes since I don't allow it in the house.

 When winter comes she opens the back door and puffs through the door opening. Unfortunately the cold air coming in from the open door causes the heat to go on causing the smoke to get sucked into the air return. This pulls smoke into the furnace and into every heat vent in the house. Therefore the whole house smells cigarettes.

I agree with big_fish_guy 100%.  It annoys me to no end when a smoker will throw their cib. butts where ever they please.  What gets me even more is when I see someone going to down the road smoking with children in the car.  I spent 18 years of my life with someone who smoked and am worried that I will develope a lung disease from it.  I have never smoked a day and my life will probably have to suffer from someone else's addiction.  If anyone has kids out there please don't smoke around them, they have no choice in the matter.  Just my rant for the day.

Back to the topic.

Ever notice at the stop light or stop sign how many are all over the place?  Often I see a whole ash tray dumped out.  Not a week goes by in the winter that I do not see red ambers in the air as an idiot flicks a butt out the window going down the freeway.  WTF is up with these people?

And this comes from an ex smoker that used to smoke 3 packs a day--and never flicked the filtered butts out the window. 

Some people I guess are so selfish and self centered that they just do not have a clue.

I'm a smoker, but I don't throw my ciggy butts or anything else on the ice.  That's what pop bottles are for ( cig. butts ).   I agree it's discusting to see that and other garbage on the ice, on the beaches anywhere!

I am a smoker,,,I don't throw the buts all over the place. But I do have this to say.

I think it stinks that it is getting harder and harder to go to a bar and have a smoke with your drink.

The way I see it ,,,if none smokers have the time and energy to go to court and fight this.

And take our rights away

lol... i am not looking to take away anyones rights.  if you want to smoke somewhere, go right ahead.  it's the local business right to allow it or not in their place of business.  I can chose to go there or not if I don't want to be around smoke.  i understand this is not everyone, but it's the ones doing it that give ALL a bad image.

I comes down to personal choice.  Meaning you have the right to read or not read a topic, to respond or not to respond to a topic.   And so it is your choice to get your undies in a bundle becuse of the topic. :o
