                                      Good days, Bad days

I know this winter has had its good days and bad days but last Saturday for the Brainerd Warriors ice fishing tournament we ended up with good weather. And with everyone catching fish it really turned into a great day.

We held the event on Rice Lake and over 35 anglers participated. A nice variety of bluegills, crappies and pike were weighed in, and when we are talking 9.5-inch bluegill. 11.5-inch crappie and 27-inch pike, well, that's a great day of fishing for anyone.

Mostly it was just a day of fishing for fun but a few prizes kept the young fisherman focused and they kept weighing in fish that beat their previous catch. Pretty much everyone went home with something, and some fishing memories to boot, and you can't ask for anything more.
