If the Snow line works out, sometimes I have seen flocks of Snows in the far Southwestern parts of Minnesota on the way out to hunt with friends in South Dakota.

Unless things change, I don't see the snow helping to hold them from flying straight north in just a few days. No snow just about everywhere, but a big storm is getting wound up and should bring a fair amount of snow to the Dakotas and Minnesota. COME ON SNOW!!!

That could play into holding them back for a time, that could make some areas real good for hunting.

There are 2 kinds of TX rags, get the newer more expensive ones as supposedly they are much better quality.  But I have not used them myself.  Try 100 Snows and 50 Blues to start.  If you catch the bug, (oh Gawd... as it can be a very expensive bug to catch), you can always upgrade to better quality decoys.

Anywhere, from Austin up over the Fergus Falls to Thief Lake and SW you can find S&Bs in MN.   But they are pretty scattered.  Most of these are coming up out of IL.  The Dakotas are on the main migration cooridor for both MS and Central Flyway S&Bs..
God, help me be the man that my dog thinks I am.
