pressure washer!
looking at gettin a prezsure washer, what dose a guy want.   basically want to wash truck, ice castles , wheelers ect. dose psi matter, do and donts?? brands??

In the last few years I have really backed off using my pressure washer on cars and things with paint or where water can be blasted in-between siding like my camper.  On the other hand when I want to remove paint on my house trim or something before painting I have a tip that works great for that.

I bought my gas powered pressure washer from northern tool. Something with electricity and water I don't like. Think mines  got a Honda engine. Not sure the psi.

I get leeches point but ya don't need to stand 8 inches away either. I even use it to clean my horseradish and pickles and it doesn't strip them. You can get different tips for it.

I've got an AR brand with 1900 PSI. Probably don't need that much, (It'll strip wood clean in about a second, and blast concrete clean) but has two adjustable wands with tips and soap connect dispenser. Wands are adjustable from solid stream to fan spray.No goofing around with 5-6 different tips. Cord has built in reset GFCI plug. Like Leech and Glenn said, have to be careful with them, ya can drive water where ya don't want it, or blow paint/decals clean off a vehicle. I like it. Look for one with a steel fitting that the hose screws onto; too many have plastic fittings that strip and leak under pressure. A 1500 PSI is plenty for most jobs, IMO. Got it at Fleet Farm.

Ours has a gas powered Honda engine on it too but ours came from1 of glenns favorite places ;) to shop Home Depot. We have a special hose & nozzle for the wand as the main use for ours was to thaw out our frozen septic system during the 2017-2018 winter. Think we fixed that issue last summer as we put pink foam insulation around 3 sides of the 1st 20' of pipe leading out. We added a bit more fall to it too so it would all drain back to the pit. Never had an issue this winter :happy1: but there was more snow before it got -30* - 40* :cool:
