That crappie's almost as big as that kid!   :rotflmao: :bonk:  :doah: :coffee: :banghead: :taz:

I hear ya Steve-o,  great catch for the youngster.  Maybe just maybe we should start keeping fish pics tighter and bring the camera closer..

I know that you don't catch a record-breaker every day, but when you take a picture of a good fish, act like it ain't the first one you ever got.  ESPECIALLY if it is a good one - hold that sucker right next to your body so everyone can see how big it really is and be proud!  Any fool can take a decent fish and make it look like it was a holdover from the Jurassic period by stickin it way out there.

:sorry: Its one of my pet peeves.

IDK. You can see the bend in his Dad's arm. Not like he is holding it out that far. Guess maybe I am a little opposite. I say it is better to make a big fish look big. Some people take pictures of nice fish and the camera is so far away and the fish in so close to the body it looks like a minnow. Yes some are over doing it with the arm extension. But my 2 cents is this looks like a proper picture to me.
Hey look your bobber is up!

I hear ya Steve but anything to make the kids fish look better works for me.  It is his Dad holding it not the kid.
