he talks about using scent coverups but i'm not real convinced like oderless soaps and laundry soaps and scent shields are that good????????

Agreed JB, I remember "Lee and Tiffany" had a boat load of legal trouble for endorsing "scent lokk" years back not sure how that fiasco ended up,don't wear the stuff to spendy,my old smelly gear gets the job done,plus its bad luck to wash your hunting clothes.

Yep, I thought that was a neat story.  Kinda makes you wonder...

There was a ladder stand ratchet strapped to an old oak tree.  Over the years that strap got pretty tight, but it wasn't there so long that the bark grew around it or anything.

One year I went to check the stand and the tree had broken over above the strap.  I always wondered if it was just bad luck that the wind blew down the tree with my stand, or if the tight strap cut off sap flow over the years, which weakened the tree.

We have them up here in the Falls also. They don't seem as bright, maybe they replaced their ass with LED's.
