i like the article on the homepage regarding those mushrooms!!!!! :happy1: think we have those same mushrooms growing on an oak tree that snapped off in a storm last year. and a bunch on the tree.

BUT..........iffin it doesnt come out of a can from the grocery store........i aint eating it........well unless someone else tries them the day before!!!!!!!!! :happy1: :happy1:

I picked some morels one year and it was obvious what they were.  These other kinds I am not brave enough to try.  Canned or fresh ones in the store for me too.

used to pick morrels years ago..  kind of fun and dang good...   but mine come from the store canned or whole fresh to now...

not real sure why but theres a place close, between cold spring and avon that grows mushrooms for sale that i've never been to??? :scratch:

Yup good article.  I used to live and breath waterfowl hunting.  Mainly field geese as time went on.  Was so lucky to have dogs that loved it.  I would go to pheasant game preserves a couple of times in the offseason and man what fun and how good for the dogs in between seasons.  There is a place near here that I saw sold pheasants so I want to get some next year for Cooper and Buddy to flush for me.
