With all that slime you don't have to add anything to the pan to fry them.    :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: that slime is pretty much gone after the skin is removed and fillet washed.

when i smoke them with the skin on, i put them in water...add a bit of vinegar, wash them the next day and no slime!!!!!  :happy1: :happy1:

your not to old for me to teach ya!!!!!!!!1 :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :happy1:

I've fried hundreds (well a lot) of nords.  Used to love catching them.  Still do but rarely keep them.  Just look at how to fillet them boneless.  I cut them into 4 or 5" chunks and then bone each one.  Pretty easy and then you have some awesome meat.  As good as walleye.  Just takes an extra step or two to get the bones out.

nice article on the home page about fly fishing.  :happy1: we have fly rods but never really fly fished per say..........we've done it on the cabin lake back in the younger days when the fish were spawning.

after that we'd use them to drop line them in the weeds chasing sunfish with sinker, bobber setup. sunfish are a blast to catch with a fly rod

think of selling them occasionally but not sure there's much of a market for them????????? using an ultra light now and after first ice out/early season i never use bobbers either anymore.
