That county blacktop goin east @ the convenience store in Squaw Lake, he's east of that ~ 17 miles according to Google Maps. He's actually closer to the big town of Talmoon & I think he goes there to see merc at HH.

A nice win last night as they didn't need to score 6-8 runs to get it, 3-1, the way Pineda & the bullpen pitched. Duffey did struggle a bit, giving up a couple hits, in his inning but they got out of it without any runs scoring. Solo homers by Gonzalez & Schoop early with Rosario adding an RBI in the 8th. Good to see Eddie back, sounds like Buxton had a little set back on his rehab, & Gonzalez got dinged some late last night. Should know more on Buxton & Gonzalez today.

A "Quality Start" for Ordorizzi with him going 6 innings & only givin up 5 hits & 2 runs with 8 K's . Schoop & Garver did most the damage with the sticks havin 6 of 8 RBI"S. Better yet only 2, who didn't work on Tuesday, were needed out of the bullpen. Berrios gets the ball @ 1:10 today.

Yes, and the Yankees are right behind us.  They'll probably break the old record too.  It will be a fun race to see who has the most at the end of the year.

 They started the game with 6 straight singles yday & that put 'em up 4-0. The HR's came later with Crave(2) & Cron doing it. Berrios struggled after the 1st couple innings but managed to last 6 giving up 7 hits, 3 ER's, & 8 K's. With the big lead they again gave the ball to the latest recalled pitcher(Dobnak) & he got the last 3 innings giving up 5 hits but 0 ER's with 10-5 being the final. Indians won to so it's still 3 1/2 game lead. Detroit's next(4) @ 6:10 & Perz gets the start.

Yes, we are up to 261 HRs.  The Yankees are close behind with 250.

Who 'da thunk the Twins would ever be leading the Majors in HRs.   

Even during the height of the steroid era we couldn't knock many over the fence.  Maybe because we weren't cheating trying hard enough.

To say I have a lot of respect for Paul Molitor and his coaching staff last year is an understatement.  Still, I wonder if the Twins would be clomping at this rate with the previous regime still in place.  We will never know, but we can enjoy this ride.

Twins beat the Tiger 13-5 tonight. Indians lose so we gain a game and now lead the division by 4 1/2. Cron hit a HR (brings the team total to 262). Gibson only made it through 5 innings but gets his 13th win of the year.

If the bats hadn't been clicking right away Gibson would've been lucky to get past the 2nd or 3rd inninng. I think it took him 32 pitches to get out of the 1st inning , he was a little better the last 2. Rosario, Cron. & Cruz had 8 of the 11 RBI's.

Couldn't watch anymore after 6 straight hits by the Tigers, so I went out  .  It was 7 or 8 to 2 then & ended up 10-7 Twins lose. A couple errors helped fuel that rally. The good news is they broke the HR record later in the game & Cleveland lost too.
