Pretty curious :scratch: to see what roster moves, 'specially with the young pitchers, they do for this round of the playoffs. I think Dobnak will make it as he's been good starting for 'em lately, Smeltzer had a good game early this year against NY & Littel has been good in the bullpen as of late so I think they'll all be in. That leaves Thorpe, Graterol, Romero for about the last spot as I don't think they will include Gibson.

WELL I don't get MLB on my new cable TV.  It looks like the Rays are on FS1.  Maybe they will change it at game time.

Hey that would be great Dotch.  I saw some cute little lamb chops in the grocery store meat market the other day and was thinking of you.  They were $12.99 lb.  I haven't had lamb for many years.  I was tempted to buy them.  Don't know if the wife likes it or not.

Cheese and rice! I just sold a whole lamb the other day (~60# worth of meat) for $3.30 a pound, processed and delivered! Gee, wonder who's getting rich at this game?  :scratch: Speaking of that, I got a hankering to make shish kebobs for one of the numerous sporting events this weekend. Have lots of those big grape tomatoes that fit just perfect on the skewer!  :happy1:

:happy1: LPS, I see where the pre-game show is on FSN here, at least that's what our guide says. So maybe  :scratch: they have our guide messed up, it's happened before & the game will be there too. :confused:

Yupper, with shish keboobs anyway. Takes a little forward planning but that usually just means more gin is consumed in the meantime. We marinated some lamb chops for about 3 days in wine & Cavenders at the cabin a few weeks ago so you can about imagine how much it took for that process... :rotflmao: And to stay on topic we were able to livestream the Twinkies via YouTube TV.  :happy1:

It went sideways after the error at 1st base  :sad: & Gibson was 1 pitch away from getting out the jam in the 7th. Their bullpen was better yday, today is another day.  :cheerleader: Dobnak's getting the ball today & it's an hour earlier.

We will be watching it with ya GN.  I made it till about 10 last night.  Bottom of the 7th.  It was 10-4 and I was tired...  I heard them say last night that most of these games will probably be about 4 hours long.

  So you did get it :scratch: on your new cable setup. :cool: What channel?  :confused: With 13 pitchers used, we used 6, I'm not  :shocked: it took that long. I'm sure today there'll be almost that many again. Twins walked 8 & 5 of 'em scored. We on the other hand were swingin at pitches off the plate & not taking the walk, when we had 2 strikes :tut:, somethin they didn't do all season.   :pouty: :bonk:

I got conned into watching a movie , turned on the game to watch Berrios last inning then got to watch a nervous as all he!! Littell walk some tgen hit Gardner.  Think there was a lotta nerves last night, tonight we should be settled down some.

Way too many walks, 8, again yday. We can't keep putting 'em on base like that & 14 K's certainly didn't help either. The pitcher, Smeltzer, who looked the best to me walked the most though but didn't allow any ER's. I'm still surprised that he's the only lefty they put on the playoff roster. :scratch: :doah: Startin to hate the whole city of NY.  :thumbs: :pouty: Really hope they regroup & win Monday as I'm pretty tired of hearin about losin 12 in row to these SOB's. :angry2: End of rant. ;) :rolleyes: :smiley:

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KBJR) – Trampled by Turtles announced that the band, which formed in Duluth, will sing the National Anthem ahead of Monday’s Minnesota Twins playoff game.

The Twins will host the New York Yankees at Target Field in Minneapolis Monday for game three of the five-game American League Division Series.

The series kicks off in New York, at 6:07 p.m. CT Friday. Game two is on Saturday, also in New York.

Game three is scheduled for 7:40 p.m. Monday in Minneapolis.
