Question for anyone who has a polarized, bifocal pair of sunglasses they like.
My eyes aren't too hot and are probably getting worse. It's crazy how much time I go from sunglasses to no glasses to readers to finding whichever pair of glasses I'm looking for... repeat again and again and again...
Anybody have a pair they like?  Where did you get them and how much?

Thanks!   :doofus:

I went with transitions so I have my sun glasses when I'm outside...

I use them for fishing and like them.  Polarized lenses to see into the water and built-in cheaters to tie on small hooks.

I got my first pair from Sierra Trading, but you can find other sources on the internet.

Coyote Eyewear at Sierra Trading

One thing I don't like is if you get a wrap-around style, they sometimes fog up on a humid day, which is especially annoying while knot tying.

Otherwise, and I don't remember where I found these, but I found a pair where the cheater lenses were not tinted dark like the rest of the sunglasses.  This worked really well for tying knots as darkness set in, but while I still wanted to wear my polarized lenses for underwater vision.

Good luck.

I have a pair of transitions. With magnets in the bows, cause they wernt strong enough by themselves for sunglasses. So I ordered a pair of slip on shade lenses an together they work great. Mine are trifocals. Money? Insurence paid for most so I dont really know

I got my sunglasses from Sanford in Bemidji.  They are the brown tinted which I really like.  Really brings out colors nicely.  They are polarized and they have reading power at the bottom so I can tie lures.  I also got no reflective on the inside cuz when I fish and face away from the sun it reflects on the inside and burns my eyes.  I love them.

You guys are the best. Thanks for all your comments. I ended up buying a pair from Sierra Trading. 2.50 power, I would have preferred 3.00 but I think this will be a good solution.

I've owned two for years, right when he first started making 'em. Got 'em for the tiny ice fishing jigs. Love 'em!

Back to sunglasses................
