Take the safety bow chain and straps off, back up like 60 MPH, then hit the brakes.  ;)

Easy way, slide off trailer on to a couple of sawhorses.  Fix trailer. Reload boat.

Boat falls off sawhorses. Lands on Lee's foot. Screams and backpeddles, knocking over gas can. Static from backpedaling ignites gas. Boat catches on fires. Melts onto trailer.
Insurance sends nice fat check for boat and Lee's foot. Go buy new boat and trailer with rollers instead of bunk slides. Problem solved.

Just unload the boat on to the back yard.  Fix the trailer.  Unhook the trailer from the truck.  Winch the boat back on the trailer.  The tongue will go way up in the air but that is ok. Let the trailer slide back under the boat.  Hook back up the the truck.  We did that as kids one with a 16' boat.  Was a blast!!!
