  "At-sa-no-nice" :pouty:

 :popcorn: ......
An Italian man was charged with culpable homicide after accidentally shooting and killing his father while the two were hunting for boar.

The pair were in a national park area near the town of Postiglione in the southern province of Salerno when the shooting :fudd: occurred.

The 34-year-old saw a shadow and heard rustling when he opened fire. Efforts were made to save 55-year-old Martino Gaudioso but he did not survive.

Since hunting is prohibited :tut: in the area the men were in, their rifles were seized by police.

Italy has seen several hunting deaths recently. :embarrassed:

 :coffee: ....
Italy’s environmental minister, Sergio Costa, called for a national ban on Sunday hunting after an 18-year-old was shot and killed near the French border in October 2018.

Two men, a 56-year-old and a 20-year-old, died in similar incidents later that month. :confused:

Wild boar are hunted around the world for meat and to prevent them from damaging agriculture and land.
