Around us up at the lake a lot of people have trouble with the gulls on their lift canopies doin the same thing. Most all of them have something that moves in the wind stickin up pretty high to try & keep 'em away. For some it's a ball shaped wind sock type thing & for others they have extensions on the lift post & a section or 2 of the cheap little strings of plastic flags that are still used at some car dealerships strung between them. Seen some with the owls that markn mentioned as well. Not sure it works all the time but it must help as a lot of them do it. A similar strategy is used to keep the geese away but whatever is used is lower to the ground. Good luck, HD, they can be a PITA. :mad1:

Absolutely that is damage.  Who wants to utilize the part of the dock full of Bird doo?   So you have lost a resource that you paid hard earned money for... It is actually a financial loss...
