Always great to be up north at deer camp.  Our deer camp consists of campers.  Nothing fancy.  Old campers but they are roofs over our heads.  North of Duluth on public land.  We have hunted there since the early 70's.  Nobody ever bothered us.  One thirty this morning I got up and heard the same lone wolf as last year.  Think it's the same one.  Saw his tracks last year during Muzzy hunting.  Lone tracks.  Maybe and old one cast out by the pack?  What a sad howl.  Long and sad sounding.  Should I feel sorry for him/her?  I do anyway.  Just me I guess.

Brought up my kielbassa.  Five of us and all gone.  Grilled over a wood fire is special.  Got most of what we wanted to get done, done.  With all of this rain there were a lot of water spots in the low spots.  Put out cameras which we will check in two weeks.  Bought a camera for my nephew for hauling my camper from a friends properts just a few miles from there.  Had some roof damage with all of that snow we had last winter.  My fault.  Seemed like a good idea to leave it up there at the time since it's close to our deer camp.  Stove and furnace worked fine and I cleaned things up and was a happy camper.  Will fix it during the summer.

Have to make 25 pounds of polish this week for deer camp for give away's like every year.  good luck.
