Reb is pretty funny but I will go with "no comment".  LOL   The best bell peppers and jalapenos we have ever raised have been in our earth box on the deck.  The grow great in them with potting soil.  When we put them in the raised gardens they just don't do well.  We have cukes now and the tomatoes are just getting close to being Ken's green tomato salse.  We are eating lettuce as fast as we can.  Fun as heck.....  We are novices..

We have some nice looking peppers, I just wish some of them were the jalepenos I thought I planted. I picked cukes today, the warden is making the first batch of refrigerator pickles. I am going to have to pluck a bunch of apples and pears off the trees before the limbs break.

Mine are red ones.  Some are growing out of the ground.  Hope that is ok.  They look healthy and are growing nicely.  Getting lots of cukes.  I will plank some of them when we make pickles on Sat.

Garden, horseradish, rubarb/ winter onion patch all weeded.  Looks like they took rain out of the forecast for the rest of the day. Thinking the lawnmower is going to get a workout.

Pulled _ tomato plants last night. :pouty: for what they were going to produce wasn't sure worth keeping them in.

Sure I'll be begging, stealing or buying tomatoes. :pouty:

Well that rain they forecasted looks like won't pan out ado I need to water yet.

if there are no flowers and the tomatoes on it aren't bigger than a golf ball, not worth nursing them.
