Man, the resorts have really taken a hit the last few years, with the slot limits on waldos, flooding this Spring, now this.  :undecided:

I can't imagine how much lost revenue for them.  They make a lot more in ice fishing than they do in summer fishing.  At least most of them.  Those with an independent access.  I hope it is a nice long summer with good weather.  I play on motoring to the lake much more often this summer.  As RH said more fishing for the New Years Resolution.

The Hwy 46 PA for Cutfoot, Mosomo Pt, is only 6-7 miles from us up there & from what I've heard most of the resorts in the area have shut down. Nodaks on Hwy 2 on the west side of Winnie, near Bena, never even opened as they couldn't get any roads plowed. Heard that from a relative who usually goes there for the last weekend of walleye season.  :crazy:

i'd say. and to think it wasn't all that many years ago a lot of these resorts didn't cater to the ice fishermen...….or snowmobilers for that matter either!!!!!!!

It might not just be this season either as some of these people only get 1 chance a season to plan a trip & if they find another place where the get some fish, are treated good, they might not be back.   :scratch: :doah: :sad:
