It's a massive bug hatch Bryan-Beef Sathre captured on video near Lake of the Woods, MN. After seeing the aftermath, maybe snowplows wouldn't be a bad idea:  :snow2:

The State usually has to get the plows out to plow the dead fish flies off the bridge.  Holiday that is right there has to use a snow shovel to push them off the sidewalks and parking areas there too.
