who uses the prob in meat the entire cooking time , or dobuu check so odten.

I generally have the probe in the whole time, the same way the locker plants did it... 
a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work!!

I'll use it more on chicken and turkey, sometimes with thicker pork chops. Beef.......needs to red for me and no need for a meat probe. :happy1:

Same here. If I'm smoking for hours I use a temp probe but not for just grilling.
Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!

In the smoker i have it in all the time. On the grill I just check it before I pull it on bigger pieces of meat.

imbdoing 2 flats and 2 tips, flats together tips together for more even temp thruout
