Y'all see this one?

MPD training materials show knee-to-neck restraint similar to the one used on Floyd

IF it turns out that the cops were following guidelines in the training material AND IF (I've heard conflicting reports) there was enough fentanyl in Floyd's system to kill him regardless of what the cops did, how do you think the trial will go?

And if the trial doesn't go the way the mob wants it to go, they ain't going to loot Target on University Avenue again, they'll move out to the suburbs.

yesterday I moved forward to press charges on said loud mouth asshat,my intention's are to make an example out of him and his followers, let them know hugo won't tolerate this BS.,neighborhood folks seemed afraid to do so,worried charges will bring these folks back for revenge, but  I'm game,,I'm letting the mayor of hugo pull the strings,we'll see how this plays out as he sat on his hands during the nasty, threatening rant this idiot went on.

He said he was sorry.   :bs:

State Rep. Candidate Apologizes For ‘Inflammatory Rhetoric’ At Black Lives Matter Protest In Hugo

'Minnesota Republicans said the comments and radical actions of Democrats were “reprehensible.”

On Facebook, Thompson apologized, saying: “I want to make a positive difference, and my comments on Saturday were not helpful. Inflammatory rhetoric is not how I want to address the important issues we’re facing, and I apologize.”

State DFL leader Ken Martin also weighed in, saying, “I’m grateful for the work John is doing to combat systemic racism, and I’m glad that he recognizes yesterday’s rhetoric was inflammatory.”'

Way to go DFL for standing by this guy.

Yep!  Thompson won his primary last week and has received the endorsement of the Minnesota DFL Party, Attorney General Keith Ellison, Rep. Betty McCollum, and Gov. Tim Walz, who still had not commented on the matter as of Monday.

“John Thompson’s life experience and strong voice for justice is exactly what we need in the Minnesota legislature. I am proud to endorse John’s campaign and I look forward to working with him to turn out the DFL vote on the east side.” - MN Congresswoman Betty McCollum

“I’ve known John for years. His fierce advocacy and commitment to his community is exactly what’s needed in the state legislature right now. I look forward to working with him as the next State Representative for 67A.” – Governor Tim Walz

That is the realization I came to 10-15 years ago. The left has been infiltrating the DFL party. I will admit the last time I voted for a dem was for Dayton when he ran for senate.  :crazy:What was I thinking. To me the repubs align with more of my beliefs.

One you can't say "I can't breath" or anything if your air way is blocked-no matter what Del says.  Two in the video he was saying "I can't Breath" when he was sitting in the police SUV before he kicked himself out and hit the ground when they kneeled on him.  Truthful, reasonable people would see that.

The fact is he kept his knee on the guys neck for like two minutes after Floyd lost consciousness.  I find that pretty hard to justify.

I agree Del...it could have been handled differently than it was. Floyd was cranked up, and was, and should have been, easier to handle. He wasn't going anywhere, and an ambulance should have been called sooner than it was.

This is where the problem lies. Once they had him under control. He should have took his knee off. I also agree with Leech, if he would have just cooperated he would still be alive today.

And this just in...

Citing threats, [Chicago] Mayor Lori Lightfoot defends ban on protesters on her block: 'I have a right to make sure that my home is secure'

Mayor Lori Lightfoot defended the Chicago Police Department’s ban on protesters being able to demonstrate on the block where she lives, telling reporters Thursday that she and her family at times require heightened security because of threats she receives daily.

Threats???   Oh really?     Cowards and hypocrites.

And lets not forget the three Minneapolis City Council Hypocrites who spent $152,400 on private security in the wake of protests.

Security for Minneapolis Council totaled $152K

The expense does not need to be approved by the city council unless it surpasses $175,000. A spokesperson for the city told Fox 9 that the temporary security costs are not anticipated to rise that high.

So it looks like to me that they are happy spending right up to the limit.

Funny, they Minneapolis City Council didn't offer any private security to Bob Kroll after the threats he and the city of Hugo received.  :angry2:
