Do we have any muzzleloader hunters out there? I've been shooting mine at the range a couple times a year. Two years in a row I carried it during the bear hunting season, but I've always wanted to hunt whitetails with it.

They seem to be a pretty reserved group. Or maybe I just don't hang out in the right places. There is no mistaking a front stuffer at the range though. I always try to get downwind from everyone. Do you stand hunt or is it mainly drives?

I`m sort of a newbie, bought mine 5 yrs ago. Two of my sons each bought one last year.
Started hunting deer 2 yrs ago (Had never done any kind of deer hunting before)and got my first doe on the last day of the season last December. My boys have yet to bag one, but they`re learning.
We all have 50 cal. inlines.
Its another way of enjoying the outdoors with the boys.
