We are getting close to being ready for this years fall hunting seasons.  Food plots have been planted and are now looking good and being used by deer and turkeys nearly every day.  New road has been constructed to make it much easier to access our property.  All trails have been cleared and mowed.  A few stands have been checked and fixed up for bear or deer.  Only one thing left before we can relax and just enjoy the place (and start some hunting) and that is checking and prepping all the remaining stands.  By last count there are 57 stands that need to be visited and checked out.  Some require very little work and some will require a bit more time repairing, adding camo, and cutting intruding branches and brush.  I know 7 are ready to go so that only leaves 50 more to check out.  We should be able to do that in a weekend, I hope.
