Yesterday I went fishing with my son and grandson. We had a great time.  We caught about 15 bass with over half of them 16-19 inches.  Weather was great and the fish cooperated.  Now I may put the boat away for the season.  Or, maybe not.

I used the opportunity to teach my grandson how to launch, handle, drive and load the boat.  It was the first time he actually took part (in this case did everything except backup the truck) in what is required to launch, use and load a boat.  It was fun and I was proud of the job he did as well as his willingness to do everything.  Now I can bring him along and just fish.   :rotflmao:

That's awesome.  What technique was used to catch the fish?

We employed the use of spinners, cranks, soft swim baits and frogs.  I would say frogs did the best.  I really like using frogs because you can HEAR, SEE and FEEL the bite.  Of course hookup ratio can be an issue but I just love seeing them erupt out of the pads, throw the frog and splash down.  Don't even care if they get the hook.   :rotflmao:
