Found this guy while yanking everything out of the garden,  its actually pretty straight.  Wouldn't mind trying to save it and bring to the cabin but after the fence comes down tomorrow I'm sure the dogs or bunnies will trample it. You guys think if I were to dig it up maybe keep it in the garage it'll make the winter? Or maybe it still needs the winter sun.

Depends when your heading out that way. I wouldn't dig it out unless your going next weekend. And make sure you get the main root.

Was going to dig it out and put it in a pot for the winter.  Probably won't see cabin soil til spring,  just a thought I guess.

Dig it up and put it in a pot. Just keep it outside some where out of the way until the leaves call off. Then you could keep it in the garage for the winter if it is not heated. Worth a shot to try anyhow.
Hey look your bobber is up!

Do not dig it out until dormant. Wait until all the leaves are gone. If you can't this fall, leave it until next spring before it leaf's out.
