 Cougar Attack in Utah | Mountain Lion Stalks

Terrified Utah hiker films cougar stalking him



Question here is do you pick up a big ass rock to fend this beast off or will the rock make things worse?

Ya saw that.  I wonder what was on that cats mind.  Protecting a young one?  Territorial?  Just in a grumpy mood and not afraid of man?  Rabies?  None of them are good options.  Good thing for that guy that it decided to do an about face.

Yup, the back story on the video was that he was hiking and came across mountain lion cubs on the trail.....then mama came out and chased him up the trail...

Seen that on the news this am, he's a very lucky guy. The "expert" they interviewed at the end of the pc said the hiker's reaction was close to spot on. Still a change of the FOL's would be in order. :crazy:
