I went down to the river this morning.  No one else showed up.  Well, one of my tutors left for FL, so that kind of makes a difference.
I did have a bite!!!!  A sunnie that swallowed my hook.  I had to cut it off.  I guess I need to bring some pliers with me from now on.  So sad.  I had to leave right after that.

Used this https://www.fishusa.com/Cold-Snap-Toothpick-Hook-Remover?quantity=1&L-Style1=415&msclkid=430c0c67d7221b22d8e553ef75235d6e& on the 10.5" sunny I got last week, he'd swallowed my jig & all I could see was the lead. Worked great!! Meant for tungsten ice fishing jigs with very small light wire hooks.
