We will never have another guy like Sid. A absolute homer when it came to Minnesota sports. He wasn't much of a hockey guy but would do a column or two every year if a team was doing well.

A true rags to riches Minnesota story.

All of those geniuses out there who thought Sid would live forever, where are they now? Without all those riots in Minneapolis it'd just be another cold Omaha!

Seriously, I really do miss those days when Sid would come on in the late afternoon with Cannon. Sports Huddle was great too. May the ink-stained wretch rest in peace.
