Shorts and T-shirts anyone.  Ok, no pictures of me in my hunting attire however, for November 4th it was pretty skimpy.  I think the sun and hot weather keep the deer with their winter coats in the low ground looking for shade.  I had big hopes to see some deer from this stand but nothing showed up.  Strange as not even a squirrel or any other species of wild life showed up.  Vary eerie feeling as it felt like I was in the move "Silent Spring".  Then to top it off, a flock of over 40 ravens flew directly overhead at tree top level. I could hear every wingbeat. It was a bit unnerving for sure.

I agree.  With the last few weeks of very cold weather, I think their going to sack out during the day and enjoy it. Hopefully the Rut is on and those swing dicks will keep them all moving for some play time!  :smoking:
Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!
