We celebrated Christmas with our kids yesterday and my two sons bought me a new portable fish house.

It looks like we'll be ice fishing a lot more!

They even assembled it all for me!

I have always enjoyed ice fishing and have an old suitcase style portable. I used to take the kids out quite a bit when they were younger. But then they got to high school age and had more things that conflicted with going out ice fishing. They both have been fly fishing a lot this summer and want to continue to go out during the hard water season. So they came up with lets buy dad a new flip over and then we all can go out more this winter.

It blew me away when I opened it! As with most parents, I enjoy spending time with my kids but they have been busy living their lives so it is even more special that they bought this to spend more time together with me.
