Nice afternoon yesterday weather wise,decided to load my gear and wheeler up to hit prime time walleye bite at sundown,accessed off the island,headed south towards belaire beach,stopped a few times checking ice looking for fish,small vehicles were cruising around even a couple trucks,average ice thickness was 11"s until I  popped a hole east of belaire,4"s so metro folks beware...
