Lee's Note......
Even though I no longer can ice fish I always use dead sticking in open water :happy1:

In Wisconsin we are allowed 3 rods per person in open water. :happy1:

Hard to believe that in MN you can't have two rods in the summer time.  How archaic is that?

I believe there may be a bill in the legislature now to allow fishing with two lines year round. Not 100% sure.  :happy1: :happy1:

yes there is but this Carrie Rudd, who chairs that committee has been very vocal about it says she isnt interested.

personally i dont care one way or the other. i'd do it if they allow it once in a while, but wont pay an additional fee to do it. just my opinion.

I just got an email back from Carrie Rudd.  She said sorry but I don't support that.  I told her I would share that with the people I know.  She won't get my vote.

I contacted Grossell who is in our area and Rick Hansen who is the chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee.  See if they can help.
