My white privilege card....good grief sometimes I wonder why I watch the news...


I'm selling my white privilege card. It's over 70 years old but is in mint condition. It has never been used, not even one time. Reason for selling is that it hasn't done a damn thing for me! No free college, no free food, no free housing, no free anything, I actually had to go to work every day of my life, sometimes two jobs, while paying a boatload of taxes to carry those who chose not to work!

If you are interested in the card, I prefer cash but would be willing to do an even trade for a Race Card which seems much more widely accepted and comes with countless benefits if you fit the profile!

When I was younger and doing some traveling I decided I wanted to work for the phone company like my Dad did all of his life.  I lived in Loveland with some buddys.  I called Bell Telephone I think it was still called then.  Told them I came from a long line of phone guys.  The lady said are you a minority?  I said no I am a 20 year old white guy looking for a life long career.  She said that sounds great and we would like to hire you because we need some good people.  She said now all we can hire is minorities and it will take a year or two of hiring them before we can hire you.  I said thanks and hung up.  A month later I lived in New Orleans with those buddys and tried the same thing.  I called the phone company there and gave her the same info.  She laughed and said I can tell over the phone that you aren't black or hispanic.  Boy you ain't got a chance until we hire more of them.  She was real nice too and I could tell over the phone she wasn't any white woman.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:   So there is another nugget about white privilege.
