does anyone plant this?????? let my explain why.

about 3 years ago a guy told me his wife mixes up a batch she uses to repel mosqitos. i have done this the past few years and really seems to work, she mixes a gallon of water, 1 tbsp epson salt, he doesnt know why, and 1 jug of mint flavored mouth wash together and sprays it around. i use one of those 1 gallon pump sprayers.

so i got to thinking what about just planting a bunch of mint plants??????/ i'd do this at the cabin.  probably start from seed??????/

I planted mint once and was sorry I did. It took over and spread through everything. Had a hard time getting it under control. Maybe it was just ideal conditions?
