Heard earlier before "chores" on KFAN that Barrero was saying a tie would work too.  Then "if" we beat the Lions later we will be in the drivers seat.  Plus win the other games to keep up with them.  A buddy told me the Lions have some injuries too.

Detroit has 3 starters on the DL & 1 on the OL out. But GB has a starting CB, LB, & a WR out too. Whoever runs the ball the best will probably win this game IMO.

Rooting for the Packers would be like rooting for Bin Laden or Putin.

All things being equal, I’d rather see the Lions win, but under these conditions, I gotta go with the Packers. I have lots of business contacts in Wisconsin and always tried to avoid calls the day after a Vikings Packers game. They were often smug or depressed.
In the late 80s through the early 90s I always was invited to go to Lambeau when the Vikings played there. It was always a good time and there was a lot of back and forth ribbing between the Packer fans and the Vikings fans. I will say they were a bit cocky when the Pack won, but dinner afterward was pretty subdued when the Vikings came out on top.

It ended up 34-31 Detroit as they got a crucial 1st down on 4th & 1 with 00:43 to go, then ran the clock down to kick the game winner as time expired. Goff had his foot stepped on by his LG & was on 1 knee when he handed the ball to Montgomery on that 4th down.

I watched till the end of the third quarter.  Darn, GB gave it a good try.  They were down by 10 at one point but came back and were ahead for awhile.

Seen some of Lafleur's postgame press conference & he said that they didn't do enough on 3rd & 4th down on either side of the ball was why he thought they lost. I never heard anything about this during the game ......................https://sports.yahoo.com/ive-never-seen-packers-coach-053523329.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall  FYI a week from Sunday (12/15) Detroit & Buffalo play in Detroit.

Dallas lost the game by blocking a punt, then trying to recover it, only to fumble it & give it back to Cincy.   Burrow hit Chase 3 plays later to make it 27-20 with ~ 1 minute left.  Another of our favorite teams, GB, plays Seattle in Seattle in the Sunday night game this week. I'm hopin that 1 ends in a tie. ;)

 The funny thing about last night's game is that it was going to be Dallas's ball even if nobody touched it. So, by trying to recover it he actually gave Cincy a shot to get it back.  :oops1:

Y'er right (I think).  I don't know if the ball is 'live' or not after a block.  Could a Cincy player have picked up the blocked punt and run for a first down?

He was pretty decent when he was here. I’m guessing his being waived isn’t so much his poor performance, but more that team’s struggles and not much ability to use him.

Josh Allen had 6 TD's, 3 passing & 3 running, with 0 TO's but they still lost Sunday. :doah: Team's with 6 TD's & 0 TO's were 319-0 before that game. Look out for the Rams, they could be a tough out if they make the playoffs.

Yeah, I'm the jaded, cynical Viking fan, but who else here is surprised that the Vikes weren't somehow also on the wrong end of that 319-0 stat?   :bonk:
