No, because the loser of the Det/Vikes game will become the top WC team, which is the #5 seed.

Oh so your saying the Vik's going into next weeks game 14-2 against a team who lost their last game and are 13-3.  May not help on a confidence note leading into the play offs?

If it wasn't for Purdy throwing those 2 interceptions I think the 9ers may have won. Neither defense could stop much of anything. I'm sure come this Sunday though the Lions defense will be exceptional.

If the Lions defense is still banged up and play the way they did, the Vikings should light ‘em up.  On the other hand, Detroit’s offense is pretty good. Final scores could be really big numbers. Hope the Vikings don’t go flat on either side of the ball.

I expect Detroit to blitz early & often to try to protect their beat up secondary. So, the OL, FB, & RBs will all need to have a good game picking that up IMO. Some of that can come down to something as simple as communication/not being able to hear because of the crowd noise. Their 2nd Rd pick was a CB & he could be back off IR as he's been there (hamstring) since before Thanksgiving.

Blitzing is not what they can do. It will expose their linebackers who are either hurt or bad. If they blitz, Jefferson & Addison will carve them up with crossing patterns. My opinion anyway.

Campbell is 1 of the most aggressive coaches in the NFL & it kind of burned him in their last loss to Buffalo with the onside kick early in the 4th quarter. I'm not sure how hands on he is with the defense though......................guess we'll find out.

Cincy / Steelers game is fairly good. Borrows is really something but somehow the Steelers are still in this game. Wilson is terrible I really don't know why Tomlin doesn't make a QB move.

Yeah, the Steeler's offense has stunk for about the last month. They have played the Eagles, Ravens, & Chiefs before last night's game with the Bengals though. Still, I'd be more than a little surprised if they don't go 1 & done in the playoffs.

NDSU has won 9 of the last 13 Championships since moving up to Division 1. The Bison have won 17 national championships and 38 conference championships.

Montana State has won 3 National Championships. The last in 1984.

Montana State QB won the Walter Peyton award last night. NDSU QB finished second. These 2 teams are the number 1 and 2 seeded teams in the tournament. Doesn't get any better than that.

Steelers are the poster child of what happens when you miss on QB picks. I really don't understand why they don't go get a real quarterback. With Tomlin as coach Roethlisberger proved you just need consitant production. Since he retired they've had squat for quarterback play.

One thing for sure Wilson & Fields aren't getting them anywhere.
