Yep it is a sad state of affairs if you ask me. This is the kind of  that the founders of the country fought to get away from and we are heading right back to it. I watch his videos all the time and I seen that one. I can't believe stuff like that wouldn't be shot down by SCOTUS.

Reb, unless something has changed,doesn't rochester mn have a healthy mideast/somali population? I remember the day after 9/11 hunting that day,land owner was a teacher at the senior high school,he told me when the school announced the 9/11 attack over the PA one could hear all the cheering through out the school,if true and if rochester still has these hate filled imports,I can understand the monitoring,last I herd the "blind sheke" that master minded the NYC gov't center bombing was incarcerated in prison in town ....true? or did he get a early release?

Yup. CAWchester is #2 for Somali population, second only to Mpls/St. Paul, according to Minnesota news. And we keep bringing more in, this town is insane /non-stop on the diversity issue. Seriously, almost every single day on the new, in the paper, etc all we talk about is DIVERSITY, DIVERSITY, DIVERSITY. Town states we're #1 one in a diverse culture. (No idea how they arrived at that) We have a Diversity Council. A diversity center. Diversity advisors. Rochester diversity services, Somali mosques, etc. That's fine, but stop the literally ramming it down our throats on a daily basis.
When I was putting my Mom in a memory care facility, you have to use Social Services for her to be declared a vulnerabale adult. Tons of paperwork and interviews. Well, every time I had to go to the Olmsted county office for social services, which is also food stamps, low income housing, rental assistance,programs to help, etc., there was always a line to the door plus a full lobby of 30-40 people.
99% Somalians. Always was at least a 2 hour wait for me to get in to do my Mom's paperwork.  Make what you will of it, but I know where a lot of the county money to help all folks is going. Lines of them at the Food shelters to receive free food. We even had one here funneling money to the Taliban. Guess whose money it was and where she got it... I'm not gonna say anything more on it. Make of it what you will. I just stated what I've seen.

Sad deal Reb...up here in the metro we don't here accounts of what is taking place in other minnesota cities and counties,once in a while it will slip that a certain county in minnesota has refused to accept these invaders or so called refugee's all looking for the freebies,my plan is in motion to move out of the godforsaken state once my dad passes,he's 93yo,dementia but tough old fart,bought a little farmstead near chamberlain sodak last fall,slowly getting things in order when the time comes.

I see australia is under a complete lock down as they are using the military to keep folks indoors,but I find this hard to believe...

On  a side note I  have an old ski bum friend from Falls Creek Australia,he tells me they're country put the "Kibosh" on refugee's a few years ago,dumped the trouble makers on a nearby island mostly from the middle east,also capped families to two children,good call Reb  or New Zealand.

Neither. I made machined suppressors. Started with the threaded small oil filter.

Had my name on a list couple years ago for the ruger 10-22,heavy barrel,built in surpressor,was told 9mo wait maybe...in the mean time on my little farmstead my pup tangled with a bull woodchuck,got torn up pretty good,didn't want to freak out the neighborhood with my 12ga .177 pellet gun the chucks shook it off and couldn't wait for the ruger,enter CCI quietload Hp,saved myself $1500 not purchasing the ruger

I had one of those babies! Worked best when you'd put it on the floor and jumped on it. Kinda tough to tell what might break when it hit something but it definitely improved the muzzle velocity. Must be where I picked up the habit of shooting in the house.

Yup, us 60's kids grew up tough.  When else could ya build a possible Atomic bomb in yer own bedroom?

Yes indeed, Reb! Gilbert was like the Acme Co. on The Roadrunner show. Didn't have the nuke set but my brothers had a Gilbert chemistry set, a microscope & a telescope. They were handed down & in the chemistry set, I discovered several bottles of useful items such as ammonium nitrate, strontium nitrate and I believe potassium nitrate. Toss in some sulfur, pack it in a vessel and at very least you could make some nasty, stinky things that threw off a lot of sparks. I later got a new chemistry set (not Gilbert). Sadly, by that time someone had sanitized them & taken all the fun out of it. No nitrates. The manufacturer figured kids like myself weren't following the instructions and might make nasty, stinky things that threw off a lot of sparks. That was about the same time they outlawed Jarts. Things have been going to hell ever since...

I had a Wood burning set, and creepy crawlers that heated up to 5,000 degrees!  Oh and I walked in to Holiday Village sporting goods area and bought a Daisy bb gun at 14 without my mom and dad even knowing I had it!

Loved my woodburning set! Hated the creepy crawlers; just thought they were dumb. (They were a xmas present) The melt and make yer own Army men with the wires in them so they were poseablewere much better....and so were the black cat greanades ya threw at 'em *POW*!
