Had a few friends who worked at Winnebago that lived in the Forest City area years ago & used to visit on  weekends quite often. Partied a lot in the Thompson, Buffalo Center, Bancroft area back then, lots of good times.

Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!

[/quoteMy husband was born and raised in that area so I am sure those were his stomping grounds. He is down there by himself this weekend harvesting another load of firewood. Natural gas prices are going to sky rocket but we will be nice and warm.

Just had to post...Had a few drinks with my girlfriend tonight and now just hanging out on our back deck. What a great October night in Minnesota. Not raining where I am at but pretty sure it is raining somewhere. Just has that feeling. My husband just sent me a text from his campfire in Iowa and he says it is pretty much the same there. Have to love these nights if you are Winter haters like us. And the frig is stocked with cold beers so could be a long night. Have a great one everyone!!

OK since the woman who owns the resort on Edward lake is now checking with her insurance company and has not gotten back to us, I am going back to the well (craigslist) and have posted another ad in the vacation rental section. I am going to find a nudist resort in Minnesota even if we have to start one ourselves.
BTW, what insurance liability would there be with changing your resort to a clothing optional resort anyway???
Hey, if you happen to see our ad post on CL make sure you say HI

Yea General I am pretty sure that we would get banned from the forum if we went naked on here. Interestingly enough though my wife posted an ad in the Minneapolis craigslist / vacation rental last weekend looking for a resort that would allow nudists and I can't believe it is still posted yet. I told her it was just going to get flagged but I guess was wrong.

Another night on the road but at least it is the last night of a 3 day sales trip. At least it is warmer here than back home. My husband said it was going close to freezing by morning there. Hotel bar is even dead so in for the night. Covid has changed everything.

Yeah, well 32 degrees by morning.  That will even make my nipples hard!

well I guess that is the reason they don't use warm water in wet t-shirt contests. I've experienced that first hand more than a few times
