Big ol Boar

Check this out.  Was at our deer trail cam spot.  Same spot as the Mama and her three babies.  In 12 or 13 years we have never had bears at this spot and was puzzled by that.  Now this year we have lots of bear action.  I was mowing about 30 yards from this spot whilst he was at the remains of the oats pile.  I was mowing south of him.  Looks like he exited to the north.

Yea at first I thought LPS had a picture of boar and he gained a bunch of weight.

Jeff I do not have a bear tag.  If I did I would be feeding this guy whatever he liked to keep him around.  The dogs are staying close to the house the last few days.  I see them bristle up some so I think him or another bear may still be around.  I brought our apples out to the cam spot today too.

Ive set up 2 sits this weekend now that the heat wave is done.kinda getting.my zing back for it. That bear is a good, helpex prime the pump, im extreamly low on bait foe the firstime in 20 years.

I don't have any candy left neither.  I do have two barrels with holes cut in them if you want them.

That is a nice bear Barry. Seems like more bears have been hanging around the lake and river. Not much for water in the normal places. I have no tag this year either. Good luck Boarski!!!!

Like I said the dogs wanted out at 4 am.  When the wife got up she says well the bear is still around.  ??  Now I have a used apple tree for sale.  Has lots of potential.  Some fertilizer and water and it may be good as new in a few years.  Cheap!!!   See the small apple tree in the background?  It is full of apples and it hasn't gotten touched.  I probably just jinxed it though.

Second time in a week this tree has been attacked.  It had bigger apples on it than the other tree has.

I'm thinking we planted them about 12 years ago.  ???  Maybe I should go pick the apples off of the other tree this afternoon so the bear doesn't wreck that tree.  I suppose we will have to get another tree so they will pollinate, right?

Ya, I'd pick the apples off it now if ya can. Maybe ya can get Glenn to come out next spring with a little paint brush in his tutu and have him flit from flower to flower pollinating....
